How we grew from a hackathon project to a national open source initiative.
Bagh-lang started as a weekend project by Shihab Shahriar Antor. Today, it has over 50 contributors on GitHub.
How We Grew
- Documentation: We wrote docs in Bengali first.
- Inclusivity: We tagged issues as "Good First Issue" for students.
- Discord: We built a safe space for asking "stupid" questions.
Why Open Source Matters for Bangladesh
